Mohali, Sept. 10 -- The Punjab Hockey League is poised for Phase II after the conclusion of an exciting Phase I which concluded on Tuesday here at the Olympian Balbir Singh Senior International Hockey Stadium. After the completion of 28 matches, hosts Roundglass Hockey Academy and Sports Authority of India National Centre of Excellence(NCE), Sonipat have posted themselves comfortably in the top two spots with 20 and 18 points.
Phase II of the league will be underway from September 15 at the Olympian Surjit Singh Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar. The semi-finals will be played on September 26 and the finals on September 27 at the same venue.
