Chandigarh, April 10 -- In a major offensive against organised crime, the Punjab government has unveiled an extensive roadmap to neutralise high-profile gangsters, including those implicated in the sensational killings of singer Sidhu Moosewala and NCP leader Baba Siddique.
As part of this crackdown, authorities have officially declared a collective bounty of Rs 1.85 crore on 28 wanted criminals. These criminals, whose networks span across Punjab, Chandigarh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, are allegedly involved in a range of heinous crimes, including RPG attacks and cross-border conspiracies. A public notice has been issued, promising rewards to anyone providing credible information leading to the apprehension of these fugitives.
