Chandigarh, Sept. 20 -- Punjab's Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema on Friday said that the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab Government is actively working to address the long-standing constitutional demands and issues of Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Backward Classes (BCs) employees and communities.
He gave this assurance during a productive meeting with the Joint Action Committee, which represents 27 SCs and BCs employees and social organizations from across Punjab.
The meeting, held at Punjab Bhawan, focused on a range of crucial issues affecting these communities, including demands related to government employees, social justice, and constitutional rights.
