Chandigarh, April 25 -- The government of Punjab has unveiled a proactive initiative to ensure the swift and effective resolution of grievances faced by Non-Resident Punjabis (NRIs) by institutionalizing two 'NRI Milni' sessions every month.
Minister for NRI Affairs, Dr. Ravjot Singh, announced the decision following a high-level meeting with senior departmental officials at the Punjab Civil Secretariat.
This structural change is designed to bridge the distance between the state administration and the global Punjabi diaspora, fostering direct engagement and providing a dedicated platform for NRIs to seek timely assistance.
