Chandigarh, March 15 -- Punjab Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Fisheries Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian today showcased the state as a premier destination for global investment in the dairy and animal nutrition sectors.
Speaking at the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit-2026 (PPIS), the Minister highlighted the state's dominant position in India's dairy landscape, noting that Punjab produces over 14.5 million tonnes of milk annually. He emphasized that the state's per capita milk availability of 1,318 grams per day is approximately three times the national average, providing a solid foundation for industrial scaling.
