Chandigarh, Oct. 4 -- In a crackdown on trans-border criminal activities, the Sri Muktsar Sahib police has dismantled an arms smuggling network, arresting Ravi Singh from Malout and his associate from Ferozepur, along with the seizure of two 9mm pistols and live cartridges, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said today.
Preliminary investigations have uncovered the duo's connections to cross-border smugglers, including a key handler based in Pakistan who is allegedly involved in the trafficking of weapons and narcotics, the DGP stated in a post on X.
