Chandigarh, Nov. 21 -- Punjab Congress leaders on Wednesday submitted 26,85,828 signatures to the party high command in protest against the alleged "vote theft." The documents were handed over to AICC general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal at the party headquarters in New Delhi.
The delegation included Punjab in-charge and AICC general secretary Bhupesh Baghel, Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Pratap Singh Bajwa.
The signatures were collected as part of a nationwide drive calling for accountability against alleged manipulation of voters' mandate.
