Chandigarh, Nov. 30 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has issued a strong statement following the brutal murder of a 13-year-old girl in Jalandhar's West constituency, assuring that the accused will receive the harshest punishment without delay.
Speaking at an event in Patiala, the Chief Minister described the incident as "an act of pure barbarity" and promised that the case would be taken to a fast-track court to ensure a swift verdict.
