Chandigarh, Nov. 15 -- The Punjab government has suspended Amritsar Rural Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Maninder Singh following a review of law and order issues in the district. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann approved the action after reports indicated a rise in gangster-related activity and an alleged failure to respond effectively.
