Chandigarh, Jan. 11 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday inaugurated a new district library in Bathinda, and used the occasion to launch a sharp attack on opposition parties, accusing them of spreading division and misinformation for political gain.
The newly built library, located near the district administrative complex, has been constructed at a cost of around Rs 9 crore. Speaking to the media after the inauguration, the Chief Minister said the facility reflects the state government's commitment to promoting education and providing modern learning spaces for youth.
