Chandigarh, Sept. 11 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is expected to be discharged from hospital today, following significant improvement in his health, sources said.

Medical tests conducted on the Chief Minister have returned normal results, signaling a positive recovery.

Mann was admitted to a hospital in Chandigarh on September 5 after experiencing symptoms of low heart rate and weakness. His condition led to the cancellation of a planned visit to flood-affected areas in Punjab.

The Chief Minister had been actively touring flood-hit regions prior to his hospitalization, including a visit to Ferozepur, where he traveled by boat to reach isolated villages.
