Chandigarh, Sept. 11 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was discharged from Fortis Hospital in Mohali today after being under medical care for six days. He left the hospital around 4:35 pm, greeted supporters waiting outside, and proceeded to his official residence in Chandigarh.
According to officials, the Chief Minister had been admitted on September 5 after experiencing weakness and a slowdown in his heartbeat. During this period, he missed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Punjab on September 9. The Prime Minister had inquired about Mann's health through Governor, Banwarilal Purohit, who also visited the hospital to meet him.
