Chandigarh, Sept. 13 -- Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar today sharply criticized Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, while releasing details from a CAG report to challenge claims about the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).
Jakhar accused Mann of misleading people and demanded an apology for allegedly mismanaging the disaster relief funds.
In a social media post, Jakhar revealed that the CAG report shows Punjab had Rs 9,041.74 crore in its SDRF as of March 31, 2023, alleging the state government violated Central guidelines by failing to invest these funds properly.
