Chandigarh, June 12 -- Punjab BJP chief Sunil Jakhar on Thursday expressed grief over former Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani's demise in an Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad.
Jakhar wrote on "X" that he was extremely saddened and heartbroken to learn about Rupani's death.
Jakhar said his contributions as Gujarat CM would be cherished forever, adding that he was a humble and compassionate human being and grassroots leader.
"I have had the fortune of being associated with him as he was in-charge of Punjab BJP," Jakhar said. UNI GS MR SSP
