Phaghwarab (Punjab), March 24 -- One young motorcyclist was killed on the spot when the two-wheeler he was riding was hit by a speeding tractor near Darvesh vilalge on Phagwara-Nakodar road late on Sunday night.
Police said that the tractor driver managed to flee leaving the motorcyclist. The deceased, identified as Dharmendera of Atholi village, was brought to local civil hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
The police have registered a case against unknown tractor driver and handed over the body to his family after post-mortem examination conducted in local civil hospital.
