Chandigarh, March 28 -- Farmer leader Guramneet Singh Mangat on Friday sought to clarify that Jagjit Singh Dallewal has not ended his fast.
The clarification came in the wake of Punjab government informing the Supreme Court that Dallewal had taken water and ended his fast.
The farmer leader, after the farmers were detained on March 19, had even stopped drinking water.
Late on Thursday night, after the Punjab government began to release remaining farmer leaders from jails, Dallewal accepted to drink water.
Mangat, however, said that the Veteran leader continued his fast.
