Phagwara, April 7 -- An unidentified middle-aged woman was run over by a train near
Saprod railway crossing on the Phagwara-Jalandhar rail section today.
The deceased woman was crossing the railway line, Government Railway Police (GRP) said.
GRP have kept the body in the hospital mortuary for identification after a post-mortem examination conducted in the local civil hospital.
