Phagwara, Feb. 11 -- An unidentified man lost his life after being hit by the Shatabdi Express train near Chaheru on Monday night.
The deceased was crossing the railway lines.
Gurbez Singh, the GRP Chowki Incharge, reported that the deceased appeared to be around 50 years old.
The individual's body has been kept at the Civil Hospital mortuary for 72 hours for identification purposes.
