Sangrur (Punjab), Feb. 27 -- The Punjab Police have arrested six people, who allegedly wrote pro-Khalistan slogans lured by anti-India activist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun with money, a senior officer said on Thursday.
Sangrur District Police Superintendent Palwinder Singh Cheema said the slogans were found in Satauj village of the district, Four of those arrested are from Bhatinda district, and the remaining two hail from Mansa district.
Cheema said a case was registered at Dharamgarh police station regarding slogans about Khalistan being written in Satauj village. There were also reports that a flag with "Khalistan" written on it was displayed.
