Punjab: Emergency fire machinery worth Rs 47 crore deployed on border
Chandigarh, May 10 -- In a move to tackle any unforeseen situation in the border areas, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Saturday dedicated fire apparatus worth Rs 47 crore to strengthen emergency response in border areas of the state.
Addressing the gathering, he said that in order to cater to the needs of the border region fire apparatus, including small and medium fire tenders and other essential machinery worth Rs 47 crore, has been dedicated to the people of the state.
