Ludhiana, June 12 -- BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Thursday condoled the loss of lives in the Air India Flight AI-171 crash in Ahmedabad, calling it one of the darkest moments in recent memory.
Chugh said, "It is an unspeakable tragedy. The entire nation mourns the loss of so many precious lives. We stand in solidarity with the grieving families during this painful time."
Along with senior BJP leaders in Ludhiana, Chugh also paid tributes and observed silence in memory of the departed souls. In an emotional message, Chugh remembered former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, who was onboard the ill-fated flight.
