Amritsar, Jan. 31 -- Border Security Force (BSF) troopers have busted a cross-border drug module and arrested four smugglers in this city of Punjab, an official said on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the BSF troopers carried out a precision-intelligence-based, meticulously planned and sharply executed operation that led to the busting of the transborder narco syndicate.
A BSF spokesperson said the troopers seized nine consignments of heroin (4.369kg) and one of ICE methamphetamine (968gms) sent through drones from Pakistan along with a pistol and four rounds of ammunition.
Total Rs 70.140 in cash was confiscated from them.
