Ludhiana, March 18 -- Punjab police have seized 95 kg of heroin, over 52 kg of Opium, and more than Rs 64 lakh cash as part of the state government's anti-drug campaign 'Yudh Nashian Virudh' till March 16, a senior minister said on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference here, Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sondh highlighted the success of the campaign in Moga, describing the 'War Against Drugs' campaign as extremely encouraging with positive outcomes being seen everywhere.
He said across Punjab so far 95 kg of Heroin, more than 52 kg of Opium, and over Rs 64 lakh in cash have been seized.
