Pune, Dec. 25 -- : With the civic elections approaching, Hindutva organisations in Pune have launched a campaign urging voters to support only "Hindu candidates," warning political parties against supporting other candidates what they described as appeasement politics.
At a public meeting organised by the Samast Hindu Aghadi in Shivajinagar on Thursday, speakers called for unleashing a campaign - 'Jyaachya kapali nahi tila, tyala matdan talaa' (Avoid voting for those without a tilak) in the city.
