Pune, Oct. 4 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut today accused a BJP leader and two from the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) of illegally pocketing a total of Rs 12,000 crore in the Pune Metro project.
Speaking to reporters, Raut alleged that Pune's administration is effectively run by "three gang leaders" who have divided bureaucratic responsibilities among themselves.
He further claimed that the city's top officials, including the Police Commissioner, District Collector, and Municipal Commissioner, were all appointed at the behest of these leaders. Raut specifically alleged that Pune's Police Commissioner is a BJP worker.
