Kolkata, Sept. 23 -- An Indigo flight from Pune was diverted to Bhubaneswar following turbulence, triggered by heavy rains, which virtually flooded the major parts of the city that received over 300 mm rainfall in just five hours in the wee hours today, official sources said.

Aviation sources said the Pune-Kolkata flight was diverted as major parts of the parking bay and hangars at Dum Dum airport were watered, which gradually cleared following the use of portable pumps.
