Pune, Aug. 15 -- The Pune Division of Central Railways commemorated the 79th Independence Day today with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at the Divisional Sports Ground, Pune.
The solemn yet vibrant ceremony brought together railway officers, staff, their family members, and members of the community in a united celebration of the nation's freedom.
The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Rajesh Kumar Verma, Divisional Railway Manager Pune, followed by the singing of the National Anthem by all present.
In his address, Verma commended the dedicated service of railway personnel and reaffirmed the Division's unwavering commitment to safety, punctuality, passenger comfort, and infrastructure upgradation.
