Shimla, Aug. 29 -- Himachal Pradesh Government today introduced the Himachal Pradesh Prohibition of Change of Public Utilities Bill, 2025 in the State Assembly to safeguard roads, irrigation channels, health works and other public institutions built on private land but serving the larger public interest.
The Bill was presented by Education Minister Rohit Thakur in the absence of Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, who is the minister-in-charge of the legislation.
The House is expected to take up a debate and discussion on the Bill during the remaining two days of the Monsoon session, either on Monday or Tuesday.
