Nahan, July 13 -- Recent Heavy rains in Sirmaur district in Himachal Pradesh causes losses of Rs 1 crore 32 lakh 97 thousand which include washing down of major roads, kutcha houses and a temple.
According to the information received from the District Sirmaur Disaster Management Authority, the Public Works Department suffered the most on Thursday. The department has suffered a loss of Rs 1 crore 31 lakh due to the closure of a total of 43 roads in the district.
These roads include 7 from Sangrah Division, 18 from Shillai Division, 10 from Nahan Division, 7 from Paonta Sahib Division and 1 road from Pachhad (Sarahan) Division.
