Kolhapur, Nov. 5 -- Taking stern action, Kolhapur division special Police Inspector General Sunil Phulari on Wednesday dismissed PSI Gopal Badane, the suspected accused in the woman doctor suicide case in Phaltan of Satara district, from police service with immediate effect.
In his order, Phulari said that suspect Badane has behaved in a manner that creates a sense of insecurity in the society.
He has behaved suspiciously in the performance of his duties and in his daily life by committing acts unbecoming of the post of PSI. The act committed by Gopal Badane is highly despicable and condemnable, therefore it would not be appropriate from the point of view of public and public interest to retain him in the service for further duty.
