Bengaluru, Aug. 2 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today hit back strongly at the Congress party's allegations of election malpractice, challenging Rahul Gandhi and the Karnataka Congress leadership to present any proof they have before the courts or the Election Commission, instead of levelling what it called "irresponsible and dangerous" charges in public. "If Rahul Gandhi or the Congress party have any evidence of electoral malpractice, they should submit it before the High Court, the Supreme Court, or the Election Commission, rather than making public allegations and misleading the people," Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa stated, accusing the opposition of damaging public trust in democratic institutions.
