Ranchi, Jan. 23 -- A meeting of the State Executive Committee of the Rajiv Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sangathan was held at the Congress Bhawan here to deliberate on organisational strengthening and the MGNREGA Bachao Andolan.
Senior Congress leaders and office-bearers participated in detailed discussions on expanding the party's presence and activities at the panchayat level across Jharkhand.
National President Sunil Panwar said, "Proposals opposing the VB Gram Ji Yojana would be passed in all gram panchayats of the state."He alleged that the scheme was adversely impacting rural workers and undermining the legally guaranteed employment rights provided under MGNREGA.
