Nanded, March 28 -- A Maharashtra panchayat employee, who violated the model code of conduct by sending message about the election campaign through WhatsApp, was suspended on Thursday by the administration.
An official press statement said Senior assistant of Naigaon Panchayat Samiti under Nanded district U. S. Dhote was suspended by the Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Meenal Karanwal for violating the model code of conduct.
Dhote has been punished for sending message about election campaign through social interactive site WhatsApp.
