Bhubaneswar, Feb. 16 -- Sambalpur is set for a major infrastructural and economic boost, with the union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announcing a Rs 3,540 crore development plan.

The initiative, to be implemented over the next two years with active involvement from the PWD and R&D departments, aims to strengthen the district's transportation network while simultaneously enhancing agricultural and allied sectors.
