Hazaribag, March 27 -- The district administration has imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) in the Sadar sub-division here for Ram Navami celebrations from March 27 to 29.
The order was issued by Sadar Sub-Divisional Magistrate Aditya Pandey to ensure peaceful, safe and harmonious observance of the festival and to maintain law and order.
Under the order, taking out processions and tableaux without permission has been prohibited, while carrying firearms and other lethal weapons, except traditional arms, has also been barred.
The administration has also banned provocative speeches, slogans and songs, and prohibited the use of DJs during the festival period.
