Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 7 -- Congress Working Committee (CWC) member Ramesh Chennithala on Sunday urged the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the sensational Sabarimala gold-loot case to investigate suspected links to international antiquities smuggling networks.
In a detailed letter submitted to ADGP Venkatesh, who heads the SIT, Chennithala called for expanding the scope of the probe beyond the arrested suspects, warning that the theft may be part of a "larger criminal syndicate" operating across borders.
