Bengaluru, Feb. 16 -- Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge on Sunday launched a sharp attack on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), alleging financial opacity and demanding that the organisation be brought under constitutional and legal scrutiny.

Kharge, son of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, accused the RSS - widely regarded as the ideological mentor of the Bharatiya Janata Party - of financial irregularities, including money laundering, though he did not provide documentary proof.

He claimed funds were being routed through donations and "guru dakshina" and questioned the lack of clarity about the source and final destination of these funds.
