Beed (Maharashtra), Aug. 11 -- A heated clash broke out among four undertrial prisoners inside Beed District Jail over the distribution of the cannabis, which was thrown inside the jail premises by an unidentified person.
The prison staff rushed to the spot and seized the ball from one of the inmates. Shockingly, the prisoners then threatened to kill the staff members and created further chaos inside the jail.
Meanwhile, the prison administration, along with senior prison officials, briefed the District Collector.
Following this, the police and district administration conducted a spot inspection inside the prison.
