Sangli, May 23 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has asserted that to create an ideal police administration in the state, the number of police officers will be kept in accordance with the population. Therefore, 40,000 new police officers have been recruited through the Home Department and the government will continue to give priority to police recruitment in the state.
