Guwahati, March 2 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to arrive in Kokrajhar in Bodoland Territorial Areas Districts of Assam on March 13 to inaugurate several developmental projects.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to lay the foundation of railway line between the Gelephu in Bhutan to Kokrajhar and several other projects. He will also address a public meeting in Kokrajhar the same day.

PM Modi's visit to Kokrajhar ahead of the assembly elections assumes significance considering the fact that the alliance between the BJP and Bodoland People's Front (BPF) is yet to be finalised. It may be mentioned here that the BPF came to power in Assam's Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) which runs the administration in BTAD.
