New Delhi, Aug. 29 -- President Droupadi Murmu today described Operation Sindoor as a golden chapter in the victory of humanity over terrorism and praised the contribution of public sector undertakings (PSUs) to the mission.
Addressing an award distribution ceremony organized by the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) here, Murmu said that Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) are playing an effective role in national campaigns like Aatmanirbhar Bhaarat and 'Make in India' campaign, an official statement said.
The President specifically acknowledged the contribution of PSUs in the defence sector, stating that Operation Sindoor successfully destroyed terrorist hideouts and completely thwarted attempts to attack India.
