Kyiv, Feb. 17 -- The presidential election in Ukraine will be held on October 26, 2025, former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said on Sunday.
"Write it down: October 26 this year," Poroshenko told Ukrainian news outlet Censor.Net when asked to outline a possible timeline for the presidential election in Ukraine.
The former president cited several sources, including representatives of the office of incumbent President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, law enforcement agencies, the Ukrainian Central Election Commission and a Ukrainian printing plant, which is allegedly already counting the number of ballots required for the election.
