Mysuru, Sept. 1 -- President Droupadi Murmu today called for wider accessibility to advanced hearing technologies, including cochlear implants, stressing the critical role of innovation in improving the lives of people with speech and hearing disabilities.
Speaking at the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) here, she hailed the institute as a national model for inclusive therapy, human resource development, and cutting-edge research in communication disorders.
