Tirumala, Nov. 21 -- President Droupadi Murmu offered prayers at the sacred hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala on Friday.
Upon her arrival, she was accorded a warm welcome by Andhra Pradesh Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B R Naidu, TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal, and temple priests, who received her with traditional honours.
After darshan, temple priests blessed the President with Vedaashirvadam and presented her with Theertha Prasadams at the Ranganayakula Mandapam inside the temple premises. TTD Chairman B R Naidu also presented a portrait of Lord Venkateswara to her.
