Bhubaneswar, Nov. 27 -- A two-time lawmaker from Rairangpur assembly constituency in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district, President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday turned nostalgic as she addressed the state Assembly - the very institution where her political journey began.

It was almost a time travel to the past as the visit rekindled her old memories after many years. As a legislator, she had asked questions and as a minister, she had answered legislators' questions in this house, the president recalled.
