Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 19 -- A momentous spiritual and cultural event is set to unfold in Kerala as President Droupadi Murmu visits Sivagiri Mutt in Varkala on October 23 to inaugurate the centenary celebrations of Sree Narayana Guru's Mahasamadhi.
The President will arrive at Sivagiri around 12:50 pm, marking the official commencement of a two-year global observance honouring the life and teachings of the great philosopher and social reformer who transformed Kerala's spiritual and social landscape."According to the official itinerary, President Murmu will travel to Varkala by helicopter, landing either at the Varkala Beach helipad or SN College ground, before proceeding by road to Sivagiri.
