Mathura, Sept. 25 -- President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Mathura today, travelling to the holy city from Delhi by train. Murmu will spend about seven hours today visiting temples to mark her spiritual journey.

The administration has made elaborate arrangements for her visit, including strict vigilance. She was given a grand welcome at the Vrindavan Road Railway Station, accompanied by the sound of a shehnai. Cabinet Minister Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary, Mayor Vinod Agarwal, ADG Agra Zone Anupama Kulshrestha, and Commissioner Shailendra Singh were present at the station to welcome the President.
