Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 21 -- President Droupadi Murmu received a warm and ceremonious welcome as she arrived in Kerala this evening, embarking on a four-day official visit marked by a series of high-profile engagements across the state.
The President's special aircraft touched down at the IAF's Forward Base Support Unit enclave of the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport at 6:20 pm, where she was received by Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, union Minister of State for Minority Affairs and Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying George Kurian, City Mayor Arya Rajendran, and senior state officials.
