New Delhi, Sept. 23 -- President Droupadi Murmu today conferred the Dada Saheb Phalke Award 2023, on the iconic Malayalam actor Mohanlal, fondly known as Lalettan in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to the Indian cinema.
Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey shared the Best Actor Award for their outstanding performances in the films 'Jawan' and '12th Fail', respectively. Rani Mukerji was awarded the Best Actress Award for her performance in the movie Mrs. Chatterjee V/s Norway.
The Awards were presented at the 71st National Film Awards at a ceremony held at the Vigyan Bhawan here.
The award for the Best Feature Film was presented to 12th Fail (Hindi) directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
