Mumbai, April 23 -- Maharashtra Fisheries and Ports Minister Nitesh Rane on Wednesday gave instructions to prepare a comprehensive policy on erection of advertisement hoardings on the land of the Maritime Corporation and commercial use of the said land.
Speaking at a meeting organised in Mantralaya here, he asked the Maritime Corporation to take a conscious and strict stance on use of its land.
Stating that while implementing the policy for setting up hoardings on the sites of the Maritime Corporations in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, the minister set the goal of generating revenue of at least Rs 100 crore through hoardings.
